Q. I am an individual 50 years of age or older. How do I use the site and its services?
  1. Register to become a member of Seniors4Hire.org.  Membership is FREE.
  2. Browse the Resources & Articles of Interest for employment information that has been researched and tailored for you.
  3. Search the job openings and when you find job openings you'd like to apply for, follow the instructions noted in the job ad.
  4. Browse the Featured Employers that have chosen to promote their company and available opportunities on the site and follow the instructions.
  5. Sign up for our mailing list if there are no jobs returned in your area when you search.  New jobs can be posted 24/7 and when one is available in your area, we will send an email notification to the email address on your registration form.

Q. I am 49 years of age or younger. Can I still become a member of Seniors4Hire.org and use its services?
There are a number of other Internet sites to meet your needs. Job seeker registration is really for those that are 50 years of age and older. We are servicing seniors who are in critical need of this resource.

Q. Is membership really FREE?
Yes. Seniors (50+) and employers of seniors can register to become members of Seniors4Hire.org free of charge.

Q. The Registration Form asks for my email address but I don't have one. What should I do?
You can get a free email account from many places including Yahoo and Hotmail.

Q. Why do you need an email address?
You must provide an email address because all site contact is made via email.

Q. Will you share my email address or other personal information?
NO. Seniors4Hire.org has a VERY strict privacy policy. Click here for details.

Q. Do I have to register to search jobs or featured employers?
Yes, you MUST register and become a member before you can search the jobs database.

Q. I did a job search but there are no jobs listed for my area. What's up?
We appreciate your question and share your concerns. Everyday we contact hundreds of employers and ask them to advertise their jobs on Seniors4Hire.

We have independent sales reps across the country contacting employers to post jobs that seniors could fill.  If you'd like to help us in this effort, please join our team.

As time goes on, we're confident that we can get more employers to advertise because there are a lot of you looking for a job. In the meantime, make sure to sign up for our mailing list and we'll let you know when we have jobs in your area.

Q. I registered but now I can't log back in. What do I do?
Check that you entered the EXACT email address and password you put on your registration form. If you have forgotten your password, you can request that it be sent to the email address you entered on your registration form. If you provided an invalid email address, then we have no way of contacting you. The system periodically checks for invalid email addresses. If found, the membership account is automatically deleted. This is considered an abuse of the site.

In addition, check to make sure that the browser you are using will accept the Seniors4Hire "cookie".  Your Internet Service Provider can help you with this.

Q. I made an account and received a confirmation email, how do I log back in to search jobs and featured employers.
You have to LOGIN on the home page at www.Seniors4Hire.org with the EXACT email address and password you put on your registration.  The login is on the right hand side of the page.  Seniors4Hire will welcome you back and then you can search for jobs and browse featured employers. If there are no jobs in your area today, make sure you have checked the box on your registration form to sign up for our mailing list and we'll send you an email when jobs are posted in your area.

Q. How do I update my registration?
When you login there is a button on the left that let's you edit your registration. After you update it, don't forget to SAVE it. If you need to change your registration email address send a message to info@Seniors4Hire.org.

Q. I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click here, then enter your email address and we will send it to the email address on your registration form.

Q. How do I cancel my membership?
Send your request to info@Seniors4Hire.org.
