Job Title: Medical Supply and Patient Transporter (ON-CALL ONLY)  
Location: Hilliard, OH 43228


MedVet Medical and Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team in our Hilliard, Ohio practice. The individual must be team oriented and have excellent communication skills with fellow colleagues, clients and the referral community. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care. The recruited candidate will transport our patients and medical supplies to/from our other locations.

Responsibilities:
Transport patients in a safe and professional manner. Transport medical equipment between facilities and/or run errands as requested by management. Maintain a professional behavior, and attitudes in regards to staff, coworkers and clients. Complete vehicle maintenance inspection prior to daily vehicle usage for safe and comfortable patient transport. Assist with transfer of patients in conjunction with technical staff. Understand directions and the ability to read and use maps accurately. Perform all related duties as assigned. Must be available and on-site for patient transportation within 45 minutes of request when on call.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a valid Ohio driverís license and clean driving record.
Must pass mandatory and random drug and alcohol screening.
Genuine concern for others.
Reliable and punctual.
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Access to telephone; able to use and follow a schedule.
Ability to keep accurate mileage records in accordance with given procedures.
HS Diploma or GED required.

Shift: This position is strictly on-call. Candidate will be available during scheduled hours.
